This Easter we’re teaching through the book of 1 John.  The apostle John, as a father-figure to the church, attempts to distill a lifetime of being with Jesus.  John’s language is simple and at times repetitive, with the word “love” appearing 50 times and the word “know” 44 times.  It’s a “love made known.”  He wants them to know what love is and to make that love known in a world filled with deceptive practices and philosophies. Throughout the Easter season we’ll take five weeks to unpack these five power-packed chapters.
